You must have a proven record of success in direct sales and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. New Business Case Coordinator
You will conduct first reviews of newly submitted Life new-business applications and supporting documents. You will coordinate with home-office vendors and/or sales specialists to obtain all outstanding pre-established and published underwriting requirements. Then you will submit these new-business cases to underwriters for risk assessment and evaluation based on the complete case file. You will ensure that all newly approved policies are ready for final issuing and mailing, and complete all issuing of policies. You will work closely with sales specialists, underwriters, other new-business teams as well as departments and teams outside the new-business department via phone, e-mail, and other methods in order to maintain excellent customer service at all times. You will organize your day so that you can complete all work on time and in accord with BeamaLife's values. You will participate in the creation and ongoing development of the Life new-business process, pursuing the aim of excellence in all we do.
Our ideal candidate will have experience working with life insurance either at the home office or agency level. He or she will have a high school diploma or equivalent, intermediate business skills, computer skills, good oral and written communication skills, good organizational skills, strong math aptitude, and will be detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
